The 8500 is designed to process all bale types, straw or silage, as well as clamp silage.
Key Benefits:
The large diameter crossbeater is fitted with 54 blades which break the bale apart before it is spread up to 72’ by the large diameter fan.
The 8500 can process bales of cornstalks, straw, hay and silage, as well as clamp silage.
The robust WiFi control desk means that the 8500 only requires a 12v electrical connection with the control desk remaining in the cab.
The 2 speed fan has 8 replaceable paddles for straightforward servicing. The wide body format incorporates a large diameter fan to ensure a consistent delivery and maximum blow distance.
Service life is increased by up to 3 times with resistant steel used in the wearing parts in the chute and fan housing.
Chain drive to crossbeater ensures reliable power transmission.
The PTO is fitted with overrun and Slip Clutch driveline protection.
Robust 1/2'” bed chain and 1 ½” x 2 3/8” slats are fitted as standard for durability. Servicing is straigthforward with slats attached to the chains with 'U' Bolts,
All Tomahawk models feature a high specification gearbox, with high/low fan speed gear preselection.

For flexibility of delivery, the chute rotates 280 degrees allowing material to be directed to where it is needed. An adjustable feed slide is fitted for accurate placement of feed materials.
Load bales without having to return to the tractor cab, useful when removing netting or wrap.
Auto chain order (crossbeater drive) is recommended for high-use operations.
Ring or K80 hitches can be specified.

Reduce respirable dust by up to 40% with our Hydroshield water spray system. An onboard tank and 5 high pressure spray nozzles.
